DIY soap with Christmas scent

What you need: (for 1 Ball Mason Jar | Regular | 475 ml )
  • 1 Ball Mason Jar | Regular | 475ml
  • 1 soap dispenser attachment
  • 30 g solid natural soap (neutral fragrance)
  • 300 ml of water
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil, coconut oil or almond oil
  • 1 grater
  • whisk
  • hand blender
  • Pot
  • essential oils: e.g. spruce with orange and clove or orange with fir (approx. 5-10 drops in total)
And here's how it works: Grate the soap coarsely. Heat the water and soap in a pan until the soap has dissolved. Important: Stir frequently so that the soap mixes well with the water. The soap should now be nice and liquid - now add the essential oils and if you like, a little olive oil, coconut oil or almond oil. This will nourish your hands and give them a wonderful scent. Now let the whole thing cool down and stir it every now and then. The soap will gradually become a little thicker. If it is too thick, add a little more water; if it is too runny, add more soap. The consistency also depends a lot on the soap and how much it is used. After about 6-8 hours of cooling, loosen the soap again with a hand blender and fill it into the Ball Mason jar and put the soap dispenser on. Have fun making it and giving it away!
