VARIETIES
ALFALFA - The tender alfalfa sprouts are one of the favorites in sprout cooking . Their mild, nutty taste is fresh, so they can be prepared in a variety of ways (e.g. salads, soups, egg dishes, vegetable side dishes, vegetable juices, sandwich toppings, etc.). When germinated, alfalfa is a miracle of nutrients. Alfalfa sprouts contain all 8 essential amino acids, plenty of minerals and vitamins. 1 cup of alfalfa sprouts contains as much vitamin C as 6 cups of orange juice.
DAIKON RADISH - The daikon radish is much milder than European radish. The sprouts have a slightly spicy, radish-like taste and go well raw with cream cheese, quark and salads. Briefly fried in a wok, they add the final touch of sophistication to vegetables and many Asian fish and meat dishes. Radish sprouts contain a high mustard oil content, proteins, and many vitamins and minerals.
RED CABBAGE - Red cabbage sprouts are fresh, slightly sour, generally mild in taste and reminiscent of cabbage. They taste great in combination with fruit and salads, go excellently with all types of cheese and also give soups, dips and much more that special touch. The beautiful red color also makes them ideal for decorating many dishes. The sprouts have a high content of vitamins A, B1, B2, B3, C and a large amount of fiber , important minerals and mustard oils. Red cabbage sprouts also contain many natural antioxidants and trace elements.
MUNG BEAN - The mung bean is a relative of the soybean and is therefore also called "green soybean". Its taste is sweet and nutty , so that the crisp, fresh sprouts can be prepared in a variety of ways (e.g. salads, soups, egg dishes, vegetable side dishes, vegetable juices, Asian stir-fried dishes, etc.). The sprouts are low in calories, rich in vitamins and very digestible. The mung bean is above average rich in nutrients and vital substances .
RADIES VULCANO - With their slightly spicy and tangy taste, the nutrient-rich radish sprouts are ideal as a fresh addition to salads, sandwich toppings, soups and smoothies. These sprouts provide valuable vitamins such as A, B1, B2 and C, as well as minerals such as iron, calcium and magnesium. Thanks to their intense aroma, they add a tasty note to various dishes.
TIP
Some varieties produce fine fibrous roots when they germinate. These are completely normal and should not be confused with mold!
