The lid can be written on with a liquid chalk marker or a simple chalk. The lids can be reused at any time and the writing can be removed with a slightly damp cloth. The chalkboard paint lids can also be used in the refrigerator, freezer or dishwasher - the writing stays firmly on the lid until they are cleaned.
