Advent candle in a glass

A homemade Advent wreath candle in a glass - a beautiful alternative to the classic Advent wreath.

In 3 weeks it will be that time again: the first candle will be lit and the Christmas countdown will officially begin.

And every year we ask ourselves: what should the Advent wreath look like this year? Classic green with 4 candles or maybe something completely different? Like every year, we have come up with a creative DIY idea for you again this year - because we think there is nothing that cannot be made with our FAVORITE JAR.

All you need are our lanterns with a matching candle, a marker or candle pen, paper and a pencil.

Multifunctional Advent wreath - storage jar becomes lantern

You're probably already familiar with our simple, elegant storage jar with a bamboo lid . You can easily use it to make a lantern or an Advent wreath candle in a jar for Christmas. And of course, you can fill it up again after the Christmas season with leftover cookies and the like.

How to easily design your Advent candle

Use a pencil to draw the numbers 1-4 on a piece of paper. You can write the numbers out or arrange them numerically like we do.

To trace the numbers on the candle, color the back of the paper with the pencil. Hold the pencil at an angle so that the back is slightly shaded.

Now place the paper on the candle and trace the numbers on the paper. This will "print" the numbers very finely onto the candle.

Now all you have to do is trace it with a marker and your Advent candle in the glass is ready. Add some Christmas decorations to the glass and you are ready for Advent!
