How does homemade toothpaste with turmeric work?

• Coconut oil has an antiseptic effect and forms the basis of the paste
• Xylitol protects teeth from caries, tartar and bad breath
• Peppermint oil provides a good taste

Turmeric Toothpaste Recipe

What you need:

• 1 Ball Mason Jar | Quilted | 120ml
• 1 Chalkboard Paint Lid | Regular
• 5 teaspoons coconut oil
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
• 1 teaspoon xylitol (birch sugar)
• essential oil: 2-3 drops of peppermint

And here's how it works: Allow the coconut oil to soften a little (not liquid). Using a mortar, grind the baking soda and xylitol again until fine. Now mix the coconut oil with all the ingredients and the toothpaste is ready. Now fill the finished homemade turmeric toothpaste into your Ball Mason jar . When using the toothpaste, it is important not to dip the toothbrush directly into the paste.
