Practical: Freezing, airtight sealing & baking

The probability is low, but if there is anything left over, you can seal the dessert with the lid and keep it in the fridge for a few days. Or you can freeze it directly in the jar. Just put the lid on and put it in the freezer . You can even bake in our Mason jars - great for small cakes or crumbles. So they are suitable for any kind of dessert.

Recipe: Dessert

This is what you need:

  • 4 x Oleni Mason Jar | 300 ml
  • 250 g speculaas biscuits
  • 50 g melted butter as a base
  • 150 g quark
  • 150 g cream cheese
  • 100 g white chocolate
  • 200 g cream
  • Layer about 350 g of cherry compote into the glasses

And here's how it works:

First, the biscuits are crushed in a mixer. Now mix the soft butter with the speculaas biscuits in a bowl - this will be the base for your Christmas dessert. Now press the biscuit mixture a little into the glass to form the biscuit base.

Let the white chocolate slowly melt in a water bath. Mix the quark and cream cheese and then add the melted white chocolate to the quark and cream cheese mixture.

Now whip the cream until stiff and stir it into the cream mixture.

Now fill the glass alternately with red cherry compote and the cream.

You can top it all with some pomegranate, fine orange peel strips and some rosemary.
