succulent Advent wreath
Ho, ho, ho... It's Christmas again. The shelves are slowly filling up with delicious gingerbread and fine winter teas. It's high time to make yourself comfortable at home. In three weeks we'll be lighting the first candle - and of course the Advent wreath can't be missing. And because the time until the first candle goes by so quickly, here's the first Christmas inspiration .

Christmas spirit with an Advent wreath made of succulents
This year we have come up with a new DIY Advent wreath idea - a sustainable wreath that can and should stay up a little longer, even when the Christmas season is over. We are always a fan of "non-traditional" Advent wreaths - like last year's Advent wreath with glasses with bright pink candles and pretty fir/eucalyptus decorations. And that's why this year there is a modern version: a succulent Advent wreath ! We got some help from Pasiora - the succulent dealer you can trust! You'll find out more about that later! Now get to work on the glasses and make a wreath!

We fill our bowl with soil and place the candles first. For the succulents, we dig small holes, put the plants in and add a little more soil around the outside. For a little classic Christmas touch, we put a few fir branches in between - they give the whole thing a little break in style.

Christmas is coming! With an Advent wreath made of succulents and candles you always have an eye-catcher in the living room
The nice thing about this modern Advent wreath with glass and succulents is that the wreath (e.g. without fir branches) can stay up until the new year. Succulents are absolutely timeless and always a beautiful decoration! The small plants are wonderful to dig up again and arrange again or use for decoration! A long-lasting Advent wreath!
That's it - Christmas and Advent can begin!
