There are several ways to add a special flavor to your homemade grill butter . All three options taste equally good. It just depends on what you have at home. If you already have liquid smoke at home, you don't need to buy extra smoking salt and vice versa.- Liquid Smoke is liquid smoke from a bottle that you only need a little of and lasts a long time. You can also use it to make our delicious coconut bacon, which you can add to your salad for extra crunch.
- Smoked salt is salt with liquid smoke or smoked salt grains. If you use smoked salt in your DIY grill butter, you can leave out the amount of salt.
- You can use coconut bacon as an alternative to liquid smoke or smoked salt. To do this, put the coconut bacon in the blender for 10-20 seconds and mix the ground homemade coconut bacon into your grill butter.
- Fresh herbs make your homemade smoked grill butter in your FAVORITE JAR particularly aromatic and the herbs definitely taste better in them than dried herbs.
Smoked Grill Butter Recipe
What you need:- 1 x Ball Mason Jar | Regular | 240ml
- 150 g butter
- 1 teaspoon smoked salt or liquid smoke or coconut bacon
- 1 teaspoon salt (if you use smoked salt, omit)
- herbs as desired (sage, rosemary, thyme)
And here's how it works:
Allow the butter to soften to room temperature. In the meantime, chop the herbs and, depending on what you are using, finely grind the coconut bacon in a blender for 10-12 seconds.
Then mix all ingredients in the Ball Mason Jar | Regular | 240 ml with a spoon, screw on the lid or use directly.
Your homemade smoked grill butter will keep for 3-4 weeks in your FAVORITE JAR if kept tightly sealed in the refrigerator.
