Shakshuka in a glass

What you need:
  • 2 x Ball Mason Jar | Elite | 240ml
  • 2 x Ball Mason Jar | Elite | 475ml
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 large onion – finely chopped
  • 1 clove of garlic – finely chopped
  • 2 peppers cut into cubes
  • 1 kg tomatoes
  • 1/2 tube of tomato paste
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon sweet paprika
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 tablespoon agave syrup
  • 1 teaspoon mustard
  • chili powder (optional)
  • pepper
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 bunch of basil
And here's how it works: Chop the onions, garlic, peppers and roughly chop the tomatoes. Heat the olive oil in a large pan. Sauté the onion, garlic and peppers for about 5 minutes, stirring. Add the tomatoes and tomato paste and simmer for about 15 minutes over a medium heat. In the meantime, season with cumin, paprika, salt, agave syrup, mustard, chili and pepper. Preheat the oven to 160° C. Divide the tomato sauce between the Ball Mason Jar | Elite | 240 ml and Ball Mason Jar | Elite | 475 ml . Top each with an egg. Place the FAVORITE JAR on the middle shelf of the oven and leave it there until the egg white is done. The egg yolk should still be runny on the inside. Sprinkle with basil and enjoy with bread as a side dish.
