Recipe: Pickled Tomatoes in a Jar

What you need:
And this is how it works: Preheat the oven to 100°C. Halve the tomatoes, place them cut side up on a baking tray lined with baking paper, sprinkle with a little salt and dry in the oven for a total of 4 hours. Wedge a wooden spoon in the oven door so that the steam can escape. Do not dry the tomatoes completely; they should still be soft.
Tear off the rosemary/thyme and peel the garlic and cut into thin leaves. After 2 hours, sprinkle the tomatoes with garlic and thyme. Fill the dried tomatoes into your Ball Mason jar and cover with olive oil. Put 5-6 of the tomatoes into your FAVORITE JAR and fill with olive oil and leave to steep for about 1 week as described above until you screw it on with the stainless steel pourer and enjoy it with your dishes.
