Breakfast in a jar is perfect for cold days and a pure pleasure in the morning - a warm jar of delicious semolina porridge to spoon! Wonderful when it's still dark outside and you can start the day comfortably.

A breakfast in a Mason jar is easy to prepare for several days - so you don't have to prepare breakfast in a jar every day. Each Ball Mason jar comes with an airtight lid - so you can enjoy breakfast on the go or in the office. Put the lid on and off you go! The semolina porridge will easily keep for 3-4 days.

Roasted nuts are perfect as a morning food. Why? Nuts provide you with all the energy you need in the morning to start the day.

Roasted nuts give the semolina porridge in the jar a special flavor - so be sure to roast them :) It's best to make a larger amount - it's a great snack for in between meals.

What you need:

And here's how it works:

Roast the nuts in the oven for about 15-20 minutes at 180 degrees top/bottom heat. To do this, simply spread the nuts on a baking tray without oil. In the meantime, mix them a little with a spoon so that the nuts don't burn.

Peel the apple and cut into small cubes. Roast briefly in a pan.

Bring the milk to the boil in a saucepan, then add the semolina and stir well. Stir frequently to prevent the semolina porridge from sticking together or forming lumps. Let the mixture simmer on a low heat for about 10 minutes. Add the sugar and pumpkin spice.

Now put the semolina porridge into the glass, add the apple and the nuts - done!

If you want to make your own pumpkin spice:

For the pumpkin spice seasoning you need the following:

  • 3.5 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1.5 tsp ground cloves
  • 1.5 tsp ground cardamom
  • 2 teaspoons ground nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger

Simply mix together and pour into a Ball Mason Jar | Quilted | 120 ml jar. So that you can measure and distribute the spice perfectly, we have the Mason Jar spice shaker attachment in our shop.
