Peanuts, bananas and blueberries - the combination is simply unbeatable, whether as a dessert or breakfast!

Making your own granola is super easy , delicious and versatile! Once we started making it, we've never made anything else.

Favorite breakfast: Peanut butter muesli with yogurt and bananas

Another advantage: you save a lot of packaging waste - you can buy all the ingredients for homemade muesli in a packaging-free supermarket. From chocolate to oatmeal!

We always make a large batch of granola: one or two large Ball Mason jars with yogurt and fruit for breakfast last us about 2-3 weeks. You can store it wonderfully in a Mason jar - the lid seals the jar airtight and the granola stays fresh. We don't need to mention that it looks particularly pretty in it :)

We've already made granola in a Ball Mason Jar in the Christmas edition with speculaas biscuits - you can vary it with spices and seasonal ingredients.

Simply make your own granola - cheap, delicious and individual

Do you like to take breakfast to the office? Then you can use muesli and yoghurt in our LIEBLINGSGLAS lunchbox with stainless steel bowl. You put the dry ingredients, such as muesli or fruit, into the bottom of the Ball Mason Jar . Yoghurt or milk into the small stainless steel bowl at the top. Put the lid on and your Mason Jar lunchbox goes in your bag until you get to the office. Time for breakfast? Then you just pour the milk or yoghurt into the glass with the dry ingredients at the bottom! Ready to eat! And all without making a mess or using 2 separate containers.

Peanut Butter Granola with Chocolate

What you need:

  • 300 g oat flakes
  • 3 tablespoons peanut butter
  • 1 handful of almonds
  • 1 handful of cashews
  • 80 g - 90 % chocolate
  • 1.5 tablespoons coconut oil

First, melt the coconut oil in a pan. Once the oil is liquid, turn off the stove and add the peanut butter until the coconut oil and nut cream have combined.

Mix the oats and nuts together in a bowl.

Now add the coconut oil and peanut butter mixture to the bowl with the oat flakes and nuts. Distribute well.

Spread out flat on a baking tray and place in the preheated oven at 160 degrees. After 15 minutes, stir or mix carefully for the first time so that nothing burns. Leave to roast in the oven for another 10 minutes.

Remove from the oven and let cool on the baking tray.

Cut/break the chocolate into small cubes and add to the cooled granola.
