Prepare and bake omelette in a glass

To suit your next Sunday brunch, we'll show you today how to bake a delicious omelette in a jar. The omelette is easy to prepare in a jar (and can be stored in the fridge if necessary). When the guests arrive, put it in the oven and from the oven straight onto the table. You don't need a pan or extra plates for your guests.

This is what you need:

  • Ball Mason Glass 120 ml
  • eggs
  • dried tomatoes
  • fresh spinach
  • feta
  • toast

And here's how it works:

First, preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Use the glass to cut the toast into round slices and roll it out as thinly as possible. Cut the toast from one corner to the middle. Now shape the toast and press it into the greased glass. The toast serves as the base for the omelette - but you can also leave it out and just put the liquid egg mixture and ingredients into the glass.

Cut the feta and tomatoes into small cubes or pieces. You will need about 1-2 dried tomatoes and a good pinch of feta per jar. Now put the feta, tomatoes and some spinach leaves into the jar and beat in 1 egg. Top the whole thing again with a little more feta and diced tomatoes. Now place the small omelette jars on your baking tray and let the whole thing cook in the oven for about 10-15 minutes. This depends a little on the size of the eggs and how soft you want the eggs to be. Carefully remove the jars with a pot holder and serve it to your guests straight away. Enjoy!
