And what better way to start the day than with a healthy smoothie that also tastes super delicious? To keep our bodies healthy and provide them with energy first thing in the morning, we have created a mango-turmeric smoothie in a FAVORITE JAR with an extra portion of lemon that you will love and that will strengthen your immune system.

Start the new year fit and healthy

Delicious immune booster

It is widely known that lemons contain a lot of vitamin C - but did you know that mangos are also rich in vitamin C? The sweet fruit also has a high proportion of beta-carotene , which strengthens cell renewal and the immune system. The curcumin contained in turmeric has an anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effect. Of course, ginger is a must, as this root has an expectorant and warming effect. In combination, these ingredients are an optimal source of nutrients that your body needs to stay fit and healthy.

If you are preparing more of the smoothie, simply pour the drink into different Oleni Mason Jars and seal them airtight with the lid. This way you can prepare your daily breakfast at the beginning of the week and store it in the fridge. If you are in a hurry, grab your FAVORITE JAR in the morning and drink it at work or on the way :-) For more variety, you can find a lot of other smoothie recipes on our blog .

vitamin bomb in a glass

mango-turmeric smoothie

This is what you need:

Lemon squeezer | Stainless steel
Ball Mason Jar | Elite | 475ml
Glass drinking straw
• 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
• 1 piece of fresh ginger, peeled (3-5cm)
• 1 lemon
• 300 g coconut water
• 200 g water
• 300 g mango
• 15 g coconut oil
• 1 teaspoon cinnamon, ground
• 10 g chia seeds

Before we throw all the ingredients into the blender, we squeeze the lemon on the stainless steel lemon squeezer directly into the Ball Mason Jar | Elite | 475 ml . If you have more lemons at home, squeeze more of them right away, remove the attachment after squeezing, close the jar and store the juice in the fridge for a lemon shot or for baking/cooking later.

Now put all the ingredients, including the lemon juice, into the blender. If you prefer the smoothie a little creamier and not so liquid, just add less water. The glass straw makes the homemade smoothie particularly enjoyable. When serving, decorate the smoothie with some chia seeds. As we all know, you eat/drink with your eyes! :-)
