Lettering on glass: tea glass gift idea

Winter time is tea time - perfect for warming up and watching the snow fall outside. For all tea lovers, we have the perfect Christmas gift idea : a personal tea glass ! Personal, creative and sustainable!

Creative and personal gift

Inspired by Frau Hölle's book "Hand Lettering Projects", we grabbed a pen and lettered the great idea for the tea glass onto the glass. The Ball Mason Jars Smooth are perfect for writing on the glass and putting beautiful lettering on the glass . Unlike the classic Mason Jars, the Smooth Jars do not have a large-scale embossing but are smooth on all sides. The beautiful, bulbous shape of the Mason Jars remains the same, however.

zero-waste Christmas present

A Christmas present that is not only personal and creative , but also the perfect zero-waste gift . Tea can be poured directly into the tea strainer - so you no longer need any more tea bags and packaging waste is reduced . Tea can also be stored wonderfully in our FAVORITE JAR and filled in the packaging-free supermarket or tea shop. What's more, once the tea has steeped long enough, it can be easily taken along in the Ball Mason jar - this also eliminates the waste of the to-go paper cup. The Ball Mason Jar can be combined with the Ecojarz Poptop lid - the to-go lid seals the jar tightly and coffee or tea can easily be drunk on the go.

Sustainable Christmas gift

DIY: Homemade Christmas gift The sustainable tea strainer produces no packaging waste So if you not only like drinking tea but also value sustainability, our Ball Mason jar with tea strainer is just the thing for you. In the summer, when it's hot and tea is perhaps no longer your first choice, you can eat salad from the Mason jar, use it as a storage jar or soap dispenser. The possibilities of a FAVORITE JAR are endless.

Lettering on Glass: Tea to Go

What you need: tea glass: Tea: And here's how it works: Glue the template into the glass and trace it For the tea glass, we first create a template . We used the beautiful template from Mrs. Hölle's book - it was a little too big for our Ball Mason Jar - the solution: simply take a photo with your phone and print the appropriate size from your computer . To do this, you either position your template in a corresponding Photoshop file or you print it directly from the printer. Here you can scale the object you want to print smaller or larger and adjust it. We have reduced the template to a size of about 7 x 6 cm brought, printed out and cut to size. Now attach a strip of washi tape to the top and bottom of your paper template. Now we position the template in the glass and stick it in place. Simply press the bottom strip onto the inside of the glass with a pen - you can't get your hand into the glass to stick it in place. Pretty, painted glasses as decoration for candles Ready, set, and start lettering! Now we just need to trace the template and let it all dry. Put the tea strainer in the Mason jar, fill the second jar with loose tea and write on the chalkboard paint lid for Mason jars with a chalk pen. The perfect Christmas gift for tea lovers is ready. Of course, you can also design your own motif and get creative. Once you started, it was great fun to letter and paint all the glasses. We also made other Christmas tealight glasses. :) Based on the book by Mrs. Hölle - the tea glass for a little break In Ms. Hölle 's new book you will find so much great inspiration for creative DIY lettering projects - whether it's doormats, wine decanters, birth cards, wedding or Christmas decorations. 50 great ideas should inspire you to copy them and get creative - from personal experience we can say: once you start, it's hard to stop!
