It's best to get started right away and brew a supply in your FAVORITE JAR for the hot summer months. The elderflower syrup doesn't just taste fantastic as a juice. A dash of syrup tastes wonderful on hot days in a prosecco or over frozen yogurt.
For those who can't get enough of elderflower syrup at the table, the best thing to do is fill the syrup into a Ball Mason Jar | Regular | 950 ml, close it and use the Mason Jar pourer . This makes it easy to pour the elderflower syrup perfectly.

What you need:- 1 x Ball Mason Jar | Wide | 1.9 liters or
- 2 x Ball Mason Jar | Regular | 950ml
- 1 x Mason Jar Pourer
- 500 g cane sugar
- 30 g citric acid
- 2 organic lemons
- 30 elderflowers
- Water
And here's how it works:
Mix the cane sugar and citric acid and pour into your FAVORITE GLASS . Cut the organic lemons into slices, add them with the elderflowers and pour in water. Leave the syrup to stand for 4 days. Stir occasionally or turn the Ball Mason Jar | Wide | 1.9 liters upside down. On the 4th day, press the contents through a tea towel and collect the syrup in a saucepan. Bring the elderflower syrup to the boil and simmer for 2-3 minutes on a medium heat. Pour into your Ball Mason Jar | Regular | 950 ml and close with the Mason Jar pourer .
Tip:
The recipe also works great with lemon balm if you don't have any elderflowers left!
