Vegan Cream Cheese in a Glass

The most important ingredient for your vegan cream cheese is nuts. Nuts that contain a lot of oil, such as cashews, almonds or macadamia nuts, are particularly good. Just try out what you like best. We love jam to go with it - as a sweet balance to the savoury cream cheese. If you have never fermented before, our fermentation starter set is particularly suitable. It contains the fermentation attachments with valve as well as Ball Mason jars and other accessories.

What you need:

Soak cashews in plenty of warm water for at least 2 hours. Then drain. Puree cashews with 50 ml of cold water and the contents of the probiotic capsules until smooth. Pour into your FAVORITE JAR and leave to mature at room temperature for 24-48 hours covered with the fermentation lid .

Before serving, season the mixture with garlic powder, yeast flakes, lemon juice and salt. You can portion the finished cream cheese into your FAVORITE JAR and then store it. If kept airtight, the homemade cream cheese will also last for a few days in the fridge.
The fermented cream cheese is particularly healthy and good for your intestines. During the fermentation process, healthy bacteria and living cultures are created that are great for your intestines and your immune system. This means you can start the colder season fit and healthy. You can then serve the cream cheese directly in your FAVORITE JAR on the table as a snack. If there is anything left over, just close it again and put it in the fridge. This saves you having to use dishes and doesn't produce any more waste - because you can use your FAVORITE JAR over and over again.
