The wedding season is in full swing - are you invited to a wedding? This raises the question: what should you give the bride and groom? Most people want money or a contribution towards the honeymoon.

Making a creative money gift in a jar is very easy. Instead of giving an envelope with money, you can, for example, make a money gift that matches the theme of "honeymoon". The banknotes can be folded into small umbrellas, loungers, etc. Depending on the destination of the honeymoon, you can adapt the contents with small details such as sand, stones, hay or moss.

Today we will show you how to make a pretty wedding gift.

What you need:

And here's how it works:

First, roll up the banknotes and tie a piece of string around the roll of money.

Now we make the signpost.  For this you need 4 flat wooden sticks - they are used for homemade ice cream on a stick, for example. You can usually get the wooden sticks in any supermarket or drugstore.

For the signpost you need a whole stick, which serves as a handle, and 3 slightly shorter wooden sticks. For the shorter sticks, break off a little of the wood at the edge for the vintage look. They also need to be a little shorter so that they fit into the glass.

Now write your message on the wooden sticks with a pen, e.g. Stabilo. The pen should not be too thick, otherwise the writing on the wooden stick will blur.

Now glue all 3 shorter sticks onto the stem.

Fill the sand, the signpost, the shells and banknotes into the Ball Mason jar . The Smooth 950 ml jar is perfect - the small, fine embossing on the front is subtle and the contents are easy to see.

You can use a chalk pen to write a small message such as “Just married” or “Happy wedding” on the Mason Jar chalkboard paint lid . The creative wedding gift in a jar is ready!

Have fun giving gifts!
