Bread to Go in the LIEBLINGSGLAS

The countdown to Christmas is on - only 5 weeks to go. Have you thought about the first presents yet? Because we are perhaps spending a little more time at home right now and there are fewer Christmas parties or Christmas hustle and bustle, it's time to start planning presents.

Give away bread to go - with a sourdough starter

For us, 2020 represents a major trend: baking bread. The hype about baking bread is not that long ago - many of you were busy baking bread in April during the lockdown using our recipe for sourdough starter and homemade yeast . And if you haven't tried it yet, you now have a great gift for friends and relatives - a Christmas bread to go. Baking bread is so easy with a really good sourdough starter. And even if not everyone will be having the annual Christmas dinner this year, everyone can easily bake a Christmas bread to go themselves and it makes a great, creative, simple gift . All you need is a little time. And that's what a gift is all about, right? We'll show you how to make your own sourdough here: Sourdough Starter . This time we used our Ball Mason Jar | Wide | 475 ml - perfect for refreshing the starter again and again. Together with a blackboard paint lid and the matching chalk pen, you can write a little message on the lid. The pen can be easily wiped off with water - so the jar can still be used afterwards, for example, for supplies or in combination with our accessories . Have fun making it and giving it away!
