Be My Valentine-Donuts

What you need:

1 x Ball Mason Jar | Smooth | 950ml wide
150 g plain flour
50 g sugar
10 g baking powder
1 teaspoon cinnamon
30 ml coconut oil
170 g apple sauce
pinch of salt
dark and white cake icing
4-6 drops of red food coloring
hazelnut brittle

And here's how it works:

Preheat the oven to 200°C top/bottom heat and grease a 6-cavity donut tin with oil. In a mixing bowl, mix the applesauce with the liquid coconut oil and sugar. Add the flour, cinnamon, salt and baking powder and stir briefly until everything is well mixed. Pour the batter evenly into the prepared donut pan until all of it is used up. Use the back of a spoon to smooth the surface of the batter if necessary. Bake the donuts in the preheated oven for about 8-9 minutes. Remove the tray from the oven and remove the donuts. Melt the cake icing in a water bath. Color half of the white cake icing with the red food coloring. Pour the cake icing into squeeze bottles and top the donuts with it. Sprinkle with hazelnut brittle in the FAVORITE GLASS , pour into a Ball Mason Jar | Smooth | 950 ml Wide and give to your loved ones.
