BBQ sauce for Father's Day
"Dad, you're the best!" - that's exactly what we want to show our superhero once again. Because before Mother's Day, it's Father's Day this Thursday, May 10, 2018. A perfect opportunity to surprise our savior in the chaos of moving, taxi driver at late hours, all-rounder and of course master of the grill, with a little gift.
For all super dads and grill masters we have a little Father’s Day DIY idea in a Ball Mason jar :
Homemade BBQ Sauce in a Mason Jar
Goes perfectly with delicious grilled meat or as a dip for vegetables. You can leave a nice message on the chalkboard paint lid of the BBQ sauce in the Mason Jar. By the way: you can put the Mason Jar chalkboard paint lid in the dishwasher (without the ring). The paint stays firmly on the lid.
- 1 x Ball Mason Jar | Regular | 475ml
- 1 x Chalkboard Paint Lid for Regular Mouth
- 200 g tomato paste
- 100 g cooking chocolate
- 120 ml of water
- 4 teaspoons smoked salt
- 4 tablespoons mustard
- 8 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
- 2 teaspoons garlic granules
- 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tablespoons oil
Our Father's Day DIY idea can also be implemented very quickly as a last minute gift. A few ingredients from the supermarket, a little time and love - that's it!
By the way: the BBQ sauce is not only a hit for Father's Day - but especially during the barbecue season it is a great gift in a jar for the next barbecue party!
