Freezing glasses - How to do it

Before you fill the jars with baby food, sterilize the jars. To do this, bring water to the boil in a pot and place the jars in the pot for 10 minutes. Then take them out of the pot with tongs and let them drain briefly. Now fill the jar with the baby food, which has cooled briefly in the meantime. Since the contents will expand in the freezer, only fill the jars 2/3 full . Finally, put the lid on. To keep the freezer more organized, label your FAVORITE JAR with the chalkboard paint lid . This way you can see at a glance which variety you still have enough of in stock.

Defrosting jars - How to do it

Always defrost the baby food shortly before consumption . Do not put the FAVORITE JAR in the microwave, but let it defrost slowly at room temperature . If you need to do it faster, you can also heat the food in a water bath and defrost it that way. You can freeze other things in the Oleni Mason Jars as well as baby food. If you have some soup, sauces or stews left over, simply fill the jar with the leftovers and store them in the freezer.
